Yvonne Rivera has been appointed Chief People Officer. Rivera’s leadership will continue to empower and develop Gelato’s employees and foster a culture that inspires continuous change and innovation.  

“Since joining Gelato five years ago, Yvonne has played a crucial role in scaling our culture, strengthening our talent acquisition strategy, and championing the importance of team member and leadership development. Ever since I met Yvonne she has always sought professional development and personal growth. In 2022, Gelato tripled its revenue from global creators and ecommerce merchants, lifting the company’s total revenue to EUR 107 million. In parallel, the Gelato team grew to 305 employees who represent 51 nationalities across 19 offices in 16 countries.

During the last year, we have amplified our focus on leadership and developing leaders in Gelato. As Chief People Officer, Rivera will oversee a wide range of critical initiatives, including talent acquisition, performance & development, engagement, and overall HR strategy. She has 20+ years of experience when it comes to talent and leadership development and has held positions in various industries, both from startups and larger companies like TietoEVRY and Lycamobile Norway. Rivera recently completed a leadership course at Institute for Management Development (IMD).
