Maldives yacht charter

Escape the pressures of everyday life on a peaceful retreat on a Maldives yacht charter. As soon as you set foot on board your superyacht, the tempo will slow, awakening your senses to the stunning beauty of remote atolls, idyllic sunsets and waters teeming with wildlife.

Encompassing 1,100 islands, the best way to explore the Maldives is undoubtedly by superyacht charter. Best known for its bright turquoise waters and remote anchorages off uninhabited atolls, the Maldives is a superlative tropical paradise. Starting in the capital Malé, explore the island’s bustling fish market and the coral Old Mosque, built in the 17th century. Nature lovers will head to the Kuda Bandos tropical forest to discover the unique Maldives flora and fauna. But the trump card of the Maldives has to be its water, whether you are kite-surfing above the surface or scuba diving beneath it.

Africa Banks

This favourite spot for many yacht captains is the picture-perfect anchorage for a Maldives yacht charter. After a full day of sport fishing or diving among the beautiful coral reefs, head ashore by tender to your private island beach barbecue at sunset. You will feel like Robinson Crusoe, but with five-star service and gourmet food cooked up by your yacht’s chef.

DHIGURAH ISLAND
Learn about the Maldives’ indigenous culture and way of life at Dhigurah Island, at the southern tip of the Ari Atoll. The local villages welcome visitors and demonstrate traditions that have continued for centuries. As one of the longest islands in the Maldives, two-thirds of Dhigurah is still covered in natural forest, so it is a great spot in which to take a hike. There are also many treasures in the waters surrounding Dhigurah, as it is within the famous whale shark region, where these enormous ethereal creatures can be found year-round. There are over 50 dive sites in the area, home to rays, sharks and turtles as well as vast quantities of tropical fish.
